YOROÏ: LA FUITE EN AVANT is Orelsan’s show produced by Asterios in 2026. The stage combines sets, imagery, lasers and lighting. Sharp Live Studio is responsible for the lighting design, working alongside the artistic direction, live visuals, set design and video direction teams.
DE VINCI, RAPHAËL, MICHEL-ANGE
Presented at Atelier des Lumières in Paris in 2026, Renaissance explores the worlds of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo through large-scale projections across the venue. Produced by Culturespaces Studio, the project brings together direction and staging by Cutback, art direction by Jean-Baptiste Hardoin and music supervision by Trouble Makers. Sharp Live Studio is responsible for the lighting design.
Commemoration ceremony
For the 2025 ceremony commemorating the attacks of 13 November, Sharp Live Studio created the lighting design and served as DOP. The intention was to recreate a temple of light: a space for remembrance open to the sky. Crossing beams form an intangible vault above the site, in dialogue with the architecture, trees and projected imagery.
Paris 2024 Olympic Games
One final celebration for all the medal-winning athletes, honoured by the President of the French Republic, and one last great public festival for everyone who helped make the Paris 2024 Games a success: that is the Champions’ Parade, held on Saturday, 14 September 2024.
Malik Bentalha
NOUVEAU MONDE is Malik Bentalha’s show, produced by La Petite Manhattan. For this 2024 project, Sharp Live Studio created the lighting and set design. A large red curtain forms the backdrop beneath an illuminated ceiling made up of geometric panels. This frame defines a theatrical yet uncluttered performance space, contrasting the curtain’s texture with the clean lines of the ceiling. The lighting adds depth to the set and focuses attention on the artist, preserving the simplicity of the solo performance.
Designer & Owner
Thomas Dechandon is a lighting designer. For more than twenty years, he has explored light as an artistic language capable of transforming a space and supporting an emotion. His work spans both live performance and major events, combining technical precision with visual sensitivity.
He has collaborated on large-scale projects such as the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games and the musical Starmania, whose lighting design received a Molière Award in 2023. He has also worked with leading music and stage performers, including Indochine, Michel Polnareff, Jamel, Gad Elmaleh and The Chemical Brothers. These varied experiences have shaped an approach in which light enters into a dialogue with music, performers and audiences.
Over his twenty-year career, he has refined a practice that combines rigour and creativity, always focused on what matters most: putting light at the service of artists and shared experiences. His visual language adapts to each setting, from major productions to more intimate projects, with the same care and commitment.
Assistant designer & programmer
Passionate about lighting, Maxime Pierog joined Sharp Live Studio in 2026 as an assistant designer and lighting programmer. He supports Thomas in lighting design and the creation of lighting plans, from project preparation to technical implementation.
An expert in lighting console programming, he works on the sequences and transitions that bring the stage lighting to life. His role connects the design intentions with their execution during the show.
He brings the same enthusiasm to developing the studio’s software tools, contributing his programming perspective and his understanding of lighting requirements.
Located in Alsace and accessible via Strasbourg, served by TGV high-speed trains, our studio is where we design and program lighting for shows, exhibitions and audiovisual projects.
We also develop software for creative and technical projects. Lighting design, programming and software development come together in the same workspace.
